We built the new Sandwich Lakes website earlier this year, see blog; but having reviewed the site a few months later the owner wanted to make more of their high quality image archive. The site, as it stood, was using a very WordPress theme but the content overlay structure took away the image impact.

There’s one big issue that we also made the client aware of, not having content on the home page (Google’s first point of contact) may reduce SEO presence. There are many factors that make up the website SEO profile including competition so we will be monitoring this one very carefully.
The good news for the client was we managed to re-theme the web pages very cheaply as the content is held in a database. The re-theme process can impact on some web pages more than others but this project was a great success!
