Having just completed the Ashford Umbrella website re-design, Oast House Media met with Mark and Eddie to complete an intensive WordPress training session at the centers Ashford offices. Ashford Umbrella Centre are a Kent based charity organizing events, day trips and safe environment day care for vulnerable folk in Kent. Organiser Eddie Chambers has been a long term client but with the help of locally sourced funding decided to upgrade the website to attract more clients. The new website will enable the client to update the web pages with new and past events, activities and staff information Oast House Media will also be assisting with WordPress Training, Google SEO, copy creation and Social Media
Oast House Media MD and keen golfer Nigel Stevenson joined a group of local Deal based businesses raise money for The Martha Trust at Walmer and Kingsdown Golf Club. Martha Trust based in Hacklinge, Nr Deal, look after young people and adults over the age of 18. They are a home for life for residents, a local care home that offers respite and much needed support for families. On the day and after the raffles, auction, spot prizes and entry fees Martha Trust Fundraising & Events Officer Kerry Banks (BEM) confirmed a total of £8,000 was raised for this local respite care charity. Managing Director Nigel Stevenson attended a charity golf day at Broome Park 25th June 21, the event organised by OHM web design client St Stephen’s Golf Society was in aid of the ‘Wear Blue for Ethan MPS charity. Our old Sandwich Events client Steve Laslett (sandwichevents.org.uk) contacted Oast House Media about a new charity website project with a very low budget, basically the question was how could we deliver and professional web design for their ‘Medieval’ section to take over and develop themselves.
