OHM have been creating content (copy writing) for web pages, posts and social media for many years but recently we’ve become aware of a new concept and it’s FREE!
ChatGPT is an artificial-intelligence (Ai) chatbot developed by OpenAi launched in November 2022. Once you’ve set-up and verified your account you can ask the Ai bot a question and it it will answer in readable English…
…for example, we asked: “explain Google SEO” and received the following detailed reply:
“Google SEO refers to the practice of optimizing a website and its content to rank higher in Google’s search engine results pages (SERPs) for relevant keywords and phrases. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. When a user types a query into Google, the search engine uses an algorithm to determine which web pages are most relevant and useful for that query. SEO helps to ensure that your website and its content are seen as relevant and useful by Google’s algorithm, and therefore rank higher in the SERPs.”

Impressed we tried another question: “what is a pastie” and received:
“A pastie (also spelled “pasty”) is a baked pastry that originated in Cornwall, England. It typically consists of a filled pastry shell made from shortcrust pastry, with a savory filling of meat and vegetables, such as beef, potatoes, onions, and swede (rutabaga).”

We then tried a trick question to see if there was any repeat content, “what’s in a pastie” with the reply loading in about 20 sec:
“The filling of a pastie can vary depending on the recipe and regional variations, but traditionally, it contains diced or minced meat (such as beef, lamb or pork), potatoes, onions, and sometimes swede (rutabaga) or turnip. The ingredients are typically raw when the pastie is assembled, and they cook together inside the pastry shell as the pastie bakes.”
As you can see, a different and legible result with no duplication. It’s almost as if a human is replying in real time to your query.
How can business owners use the Ai bot?
Again we tested it with a closer to home question: “plumbers services in Kent” and in reply the Ai bot delivered:
“There are many plumbing services available in Kent, England. Some common plumbing services that plumbers in Kent offer include:
- Emergency plumbing services: Plumbers in Kent are available 24/7 to provide emergency plumbing services for issues such as burst pipes, leaks, and other urgent plumbing problems.
- Installation and repair of plumbing fixtures: Plumbers in Kent can install, repair or replace plumbing fixtures such as toilets, sinks, showers, and baths.
- Boiler installation and repair: Plumbers in Kent are also qualified to install and repair boilers, central heating systems, and radiators.
- Blocked drain cleaning: Plumbers in Kent can provide drain cleaning services to clear blockages in sinks, toilets, and other drains.
- Water leak detection and repair: Plumbers in Kent can also detect and repair water leaks in pipes, walls, and floors.

Is the copy created plagiarised? (plagiarised content is penalized by Google)
It would appear not, scoring as low as low as 5% for plagiarism when tested (20% is acceptable when using plagiarism checking software). So in theory we can create original content for web or any other publication within seconds saving time and money. The copy is also well written grammatically in UK English with no typos.
