Canterbury based tree surgeon John Barton has been a website design client for many years, he was in fact the first tree surgeon with a website back in the day. John’s advertising partners have been on at him for some time to go ‘mobile friendly’ and having read our monthly newsletter about responsive website design, he called and we got the conversion process going.
The brief from John was to comply with the Google ‘responsive’ web page requirement and expand his geographical keywords to compliment his Yell.com campaign and paper advertising. This type of business is one of the few left still using traditional paper based marketing!
The conversion process was made easy as we already had the old pages here on archive, so it was just a case of creating a new WordPress platform, selecting a suitable WordPress theme, then transferring the content. We also complimented the design with some great FREE images from Pixabay.
We also added at no additional cost, an image gallery page to help the client with his increasing image portfolio of tree work.
What did the client say?
“thanks Nigel, as you know I’m not technical when it comes to websites but you made it very easy for me to understand. The website works well on my mobile and the yell guys are happy as well”
