If you didn’t know already, The Open Golf Championship is back in Kent at Royal St George’s, Sandwich 15th to 18th July 2021. With an estimated daily attendance of 130,000 plus a commercial tented area bigger than Eastry, there’s a lot of interest for local businesses. The obvious winners are any of the service industries like accommodation, transport, food etc but there’s also a support requirement for the 1000s of international business that came here in readiness weeks ago. Managing Director Nigel Stevenson attended a charity golf day at Broome Park 25th June 21, the event organised by OHM web design client St Stephen’s Golf Society was in aid of the ‘Wear Blue for Ethan MPS charity. Oast House Media sponsored the 18th hole and raffle prizes and presented the winner Tyler Venables with his £50 prize. Over £1200 was raised on the day. See event web page
